Saving - Spyro: A Hero's Tail will only make one save file no matter how much space is on the card. Within that save file is room for 3 game saves. The only way to get more saves is to use another card.

WARNING! There seems to be a lot of people getting corrupted files with this game. The majority of the problems seem to come from turning off the console while an Auto Save is in progress. Here is how to avoid this:

• If you ever get a corrupted file delete it immediately.

1. When you are ready to stop playing the game Save manually from the menu. (Press START, Select Options, Save Game is at the bottom.)
2. Always Quit from the menu.
3. Only turn of the console when you are at the PRESS START screen.

Lock Picks(Keys) - There are numerous locked chests throughout the world. They contain Ammo, Gems, Dragon Eggs, or Light Gems. Get the Key Chain as soon a possible so you can carry 3 Lock Picks instead of just 1. Whenever you are near a shop fill up your supply.

Moves

Transporters -

Gems - the value of gems varies with the color

• Red - 1 Gem - The basic unit of Dragon currency
• Green - 5 Gems
• Purple - 25 Gems
• Yellow - 100 Gems

Containers -You can find treasure in various baskets, chests, bottles and other containers. Here is how to open them all.

Baskets - The basket is the easiest of all the containers to open. Flame or charge it once and the treasure is yours.

Metal Chest - This vase is impervious to your normal flame attack, but a charge should crack it open. Also try electric breath.

Glass Bottles - These green bottles are found underwater. Just charge it.

Target Chest - Do a horn dive on top of it.

Exploding Chest - The treasure has been tightly packed into a box with xplosives. Well you got the fire so lets light this firecracker and get out of the way before it blows. You can also charge it if you don't mind getting hurt.

Strong Box - Rocket, Exploding Arrow

Locked Chest - You will need a Lock-Pick so Sparx can pick the lock.
