8 Gliding Ninja Riptocs
they fly in endless laps. fly against them and flame each one.

Dragonfly8 Dojo Time Trial Rashomon

Dragonfly9 Dojo Race Yojimbo - You must complete 3 laps and come in 1st ahead of all 5 ninjas

Rings - There a 7 rings in this course. You must go through each ring on each of 3 laps to complete the course. If you miss one you will have to start over.

Red Dots - The red dots form a path connecting all the rings. If you follow the red dots you will go through all the rings but you will miss the stars and will not be able to win the race. Use the dots just as a guide to find the rings the first time through.

Blue Stars - these give you a short burst of speed to help you get ahead of your opponents and you cannot come in first without using them. There are 3 Blue stars in this course. If you can get all 3 on all 3 laps without missing a ring you are almost guaranteed to win the race. It is possible to win without getting them all but it is impossible to win without getting some.

Red Stars - These give you a rocket to fire at you opponents which slows them down if hit. They are not very useful and I suggest ignoring them.

Cutting Corners - Try to take the shortest path possible. Travel a straight line from one ring to the next even if the red dots curve around.

Lapping - After you get into the 3rd position you may pass a few racers without moving up in place. This is not a bug as many will tell you. You are merely passing racers that you have already passed. In racing this is called 'lapping'. You may be on the 3rd lap while slower racers are still on the 2nd or 1st lap. After you are in 3rd you will lap 2 racers and when you pass the next one you should be in 2nd.

The Course

Ring 1 - Go through the ring right in front of you as you start and start diving immediately.
Star 1 - the first star is in the dojo right in front of you. Once you hit it start climbing again.
Ring 2 - getting this ring after the first star can be a little Tricky
Star 2 - swing left and go down a little to get Star 2. you can probably win the race without ever getting this star as long as you get the other 2 each time.
Ring 3 - go right to Ring 3 by the tree and go through the dojo
Ring 4 and 5 - once you exit the dojo Ring 4 and 5 are right in front of you.
Star 3 - go left into the dojo to get the 3rd Star
Ring 6 and 7 - climb immediately to ring 6 and ring 7 is right after it.
Repeat - Ring 1 is next so just repeat 2 more times

Challenge Portal - Tank

Patton

Dragonfly10 Tank Mini-game Cub

Bunnies - If your life gauge goes down roll over some bunnies to fill it up.

Open the Gates- there are 2 gates on the course. To open them you must hit both targets on either side of the gate. The targets turn from red to green when hit.

Part 2 - Learn Ice Breath

Dragonfly5 Baby Dragons Moony Blue

You need ice breath to freeze the baby dragons. then you can jump on them to get the kites.

Bug alert I hate this bug most of all. This is more than "oh we didn't catch that" or "we didn't have time to polish it". It's total disregard for quality. The idea is you freeze the dragons so you can stand on them but you can't STAND ON THEM! I miss the days of perfectly square cubes in Spyro 2 and 3.

I'm not sure how I got past it. Try jumping again as soon as you get on. I just kinda jump on them, flail around a little trying to jump again, fall off. Jump and try again until I can get on the rock or the kite just comes down. Some people say you don't need to flame them but I'm so mad at that point I flame 'em anyways. :) Sometime the kites come down several seconds after you get off the rock.

With the last Dragon, Dougy, you can glide to the rock from the dojo.
