Bubble Rune - you should see the bubble rune right in front of you. As you walk toward it Bianca appears and tells you about it. Pick it up and take it to the Dragon Spirit, the statue that looks a lot like the crystallized dragons from Spyro 1. The rune will be placed in the statue and you will now have bubble breath. Use R1 to switch between Flame and Bubble.

Part 2 - Find Lightning Rune

Once you get back from Dragonfly Dojo approach the Dragon Statue and you will be given the Lightning Breath Ability. Go to the Lighting Gate, switch to Lightning Breath(L1) and zap it. The lock will fall off and the gate will open.

Charge through the gate to the one near Honey Marsh. Turn around and charge back toward Luau Island and take the high road(1). Get the one on the beach then the one on the island. Then head back toward Crop Circle on the low road(1). and get the 2 on the hay.

Someone on gamefaqs said you don't need jump on the hay, you can just zap the bottom. I'll have to try that sometime.

Part 3 - Find Ice Rune

Once you get back from Cloud 9 approach the Dragon Statue and you will be given the Ice Breath Ability.

From the platform right in front of Dragonfly dojo (face the gate) you can glide to the right to a higher platform that leads to the Ice gate. Switch to Ice Breath(L1) and breathe on it. The lock will fall off and the gate will open. You will now have access to the rest of the levels.

Go right. If you keep jumping up the steps on the left, the go around to the right and you end up at Monkey Monastery. But if you go to the right of the steps and under one you come to a flying carpet. That is thieves den.
