Summery: It is nearing the end of the 'Year of the Dragon' celebration when the baby Dragons are joined with their Dragonfly companions. Suddenly Ripto appears and tries to use his magic to capture the dragonflies but the spell backfires and the Dragonflies are scattered throughout the Dragon Realms. Spyro and Sparx are off to recover the Dragonflies for the baby Dragons.

Spyro 4? - Enter the Dragonfly is the 6th Spyro to be released but many call it Spyro 4? Season of Ice (GBA) was called Spyro 4 by many because it was the 4th Spyro game released. With the release of Season of Flame (GBA) Universal has made the number system clear by calling SOF Spyro 2. There are two Spyro series, one for consoles and one for game boy. The people who I communicate with who have worked on ETD also call it Spyro 4.
