Gem Hop - small platforms

Short answer: Practice!

Slightly longer answer: Focus more on staying alive then getting Gems. I made a stupid mistakes by trying to get gems. Once you jump off a platform it falls. Try to get on platforms on one side going the opposite direction and then stay on it till you get close to the other side and grab one going the other way. Go up whenever possible. If you fall you have more of a chance of saving yourself. If you fall and there is no platform in sight head for a side and maybe a low platform will save you.
