It's OK to say No - Tell Moneybags no and see what he says. Also talk to him when you don't have enough money

You got more to say? - Talk to the NPC's (especially Moneybags) after you have finished their tasks. They often have something more to say.

Things to burn

  • Banners - Most levels have banners on poles by many of the NPCs. Might as well burn them.
  • Summer Forrest - The seaweed, after you get the Permanent Super Fire Ball.
  • Ocean Speedway - Just for fun flame or charge all the fish in the stands.

See The Exit Cinema in Glimmer - You will not see the exit movie the first time you leave Glimmer because a major plot movie plays. To see it, go back in and talk to Pogo and Twitchy and then leave through the portal. I don't believe Glimmer has an entrance movie.

Zoe's Shadow - You can still see Zoe's shadow under the bridge.

A white castle wall in Summer Forest engraved with the name Bryan.Summer Forest: Bryan? - Look closely at the white castle walls in Summer forest and you may see the name 'Bryan'. It was put there by Craig A. Stitt (graphic designer on Spyro 2) for his son Bryan.

In Skelos Badlands you can see a bunch of huts. On these huts, there are bone-like partitions. On these partitions you can see a fancy G and a fancy P. A reference to Greg Phillips, one of the game's programmers.

Breeze Harbor Swim Glitch - after you light the second fire to raise the water, notice the step that is right on the same level as the water. If you get in the water and get Spyro's head right over the step and dive you may be able to swim into the air. You can use this to swim strait for for Squawk near the portal to get the talisman. Go back into the water to change things back to normal.

The tall doors at the entrence to the Winter Tundra castle featuring the name Brenda.Winter Tundra: Brenda? - Look at the doors in Winter Tundra for 'Brenda' (easier to spot before the doors are opened). This was also put there by Craig for the lead animator's daughter Brenda.

Mystic Marsh: Coins - Who is that on the coins? It's Dan, one of the artists at Insomniac.

Spyro's voice (in this game) is done by Tom Kenny the same guy who voiced Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Playing on PS2 - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage should work just fine on a PlayStation 2 but you must use a PS1 Memory card with it. Using Fast Disc speed will improve load times but it will cause the sound to drop out halfway through the second intro movie. Smooth Textures make the the game look a little nicer on close ups but it also makes the polygon edges more obvious in some places.

Playing on PS3 -

Demo Mode - The Demo mode will start after the cave man runs by 4 time on the "Press Start" screen.

  1. Aquaria Towers - Manta Ray
  2. Colosus - Hockey
  3. Scorch
  4. Metropolis - UFOs
  5. Skelos Badlands - Lavalizards
  6. Cloud Temple - Bell Towers
Spyro Demo - Crash Team Racing has a demo of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage on it
