- 14 rings
- In the rings is the only time you should stop shooting. Make
sure you get every ring. You won't gain time, you'll just keep
what you have. After you get the gems each ring is worth 1 sec.
- Gems - Purple Gems are floating in the middle of each ring
- Swarm: Bubbles
- When you have the swarms of enemies just focus on the yellow
ones to build up your time.
- Pink - nothing
- Yellow - 1 sec
- Blue - gem (Yellow or Purple)
- Hit you - 1 sec
- Jellyfish with 4 little Jellyfish
- When you face the big guys with little guys flying around
remember you can't hurt the big guy until you take out the little
guys. Try to get them as they are going away from you. After you
get the little guys just go crazy on the big guy cause I don't
think he can hurt you.
- little - 1 sec/Hit you - 1 sec
- Big - Yellow Gem or 3 Sec
- 6 sets of 2 Lines of 3 Flying Crabs
- With double lines of enemies try to position yourself where you can
take out both lines. If you destroy the entire set the next
set will come right away. This helps conserve time.
- Red
- Yellow - time
- Blue - purple gem
- Hit you - 1 sec
- Jellyfish with 4 little Jellyfish
- When you face the big guys with little guys flying around
remember you can't hurt the big guy until you take out the little

- Boss - Aqua Dragon
- The boss can get you coming and going. It is possible to score
hits on him when he's coming at you but your best chance is when
he's going away from you. You have to destroy all the segments
and then the head is vulnerable. The Green Dragon speeds up as you destroy segments. You get no
time from dragon segments.
- Gems - The dragon gives you a yellow gem.
- Hit you - 3 sec
Some Tips
When you destroy a target that has a gem the gem will fly towards you and you have to catch it. If you miss it you will have to play the course again to get it.
Keep firing, hold down the button for rapid fire or if you are willing to sacrifice a thumb, it is possible to get a higher rate of fire by pressing the button repeatedly. Then move for your target.
Don't worry if you do very poorly the first time through. Many of the items that give you gems will give you time after you get the gems. Go through a couple times focusing on getting all the gems (mostly the blue enemies). When you've got most of the gems you will find that you can get much further. The last gems you get from the boss.
Spyro doesn't go any faster. All you can do is practice. The more you practice the better you'll avoid getting hit, and you'll hit more of the yellow enemies and that will give you more time.
