Directions - For this walkthrough North is the top of the screen, South is the bottom, East is the right and West is the left.
Look Around - Hold L and use the D-pad to move the camera.

Jump - use this to get up low ledges
Jump and Glide
Jump Glide and Hover - Start out walking in the direction you want to go.
Keep pressing the D-Pad in the same direction through the entire process.
Jump(A) at the very edge of the land. At the top of the jump Press 'A' again
to glide. When you are about to run in to the platform press 'A' again to hover
and Spyro should pop up just a bit to make it.
Life Saver, Exit Level Trick - If you are falling to you death you can press START and select Exit Level. You will be sent back to the home world without loosing a life.
Sparx Tipsthere are four weapons you can get:
- Green Butterfly: Wide-Rapid Fire (300 shots)
- Red Butterfly: Homing Bombs (40 shots)
- Purple Butterfly: Atomic Blast (1 shot)
- Yellow Butterfly: Shield (1)
If you get 2 of the same color they add up but you can only have one type at a time
If you get 2 Greens you would have 600 shots but if you then pick up a Yellow you lose them all and only have 1 Shield.
I like to use the homing bombs (red butterfly) or wide -rapid fire (green butterfly). When you die in the Sparx worlds all the butterflies (and enemies) come back. Use this as a chance to stock up on your weapon of choice.
With all the bosses I stay in one end of the room, hold the 'R' and slide up and down firing in the direction of the boss. When he gets close I zoom over to the other side. I use up the weapon I have and then grab whatever's in the room. Any of the weapons can be used to do damage, even the shield.
GBA Screen Cleaning - I have a little cloth that I use to clean my glasses. It's kinda silky but it's actually 80% Polyester and 20% Nylon. It works great on the GBA screen. Try any drug store or place that sells glasses.
