Charge him into the lava. As soon as he goes into the lava run away from him. When Sheila the kangaroo jumps on him is when he gets hurt. While he's rolling run in circles around the arena until he stops. Then push him into the lava again.
When Buzz is chasing you try to stay on the outer edge without falling in the lava. When he stops he will be close to the edge and you may only have to charge him once.After a couple hits he will use his Flame Shield. Just wait for it to go down to charge him.
Two more hits and he will use his Flame Breath repeatedly after the shield disappears. Jump, Glide and charge to get him now.
