Skill Point 13 The Impossible Tower - In the place where you see the wizards moving what looks like a giant chess piece, the Impossible tower is the one out to the right separated from the land.

ACT in action? - This game tries to make things easy on you if you are having trouble (Automatic Challenge Tuning). This may be a sign of that. In the area where the cat wizards are moving 3 steps in and out to push you off, notice that the steps alternate, first the 2 outer ones are out, then they move in and the middle one comes out. But sometimes, usually after I died, they move all as one.

Trick Whirlwind - There is a whirlwind on one of the draw bridges of the castle that looks like it will take you to the platform above but it drops you just short. You can make it if you hover though. This whirlwind was fixed in the Greatest Hits Version

Bug Alert - Magic Jar - Sometimes after you destroy the jar the last time, right where you start the level the Gems don't appear right away. If this happens just go wander around the level for a while. They may take a couple minutes to appear. Sometimes just approaching the spot again later makes them show up.

Spyro Challenge Portal - Tower of the Golden Goose

Jack is on a quest for the golden goose but unfortunately he bought some magic seeds from Moneybags. These seeds only grow in the dirt patches. Spyro can pick up the seeds in his mouth and spit them out on the dirt patch of your choice and they will instantly grow. He can flame the plants and they will turn back into seeds. If he spits a seed over the edge it will come back. There are 2 types of seeds:
●Yellow - Grows into a flower that Spyro can jump up on to in order reach higher places.
●Pink - Grows into a Mushroom that bounces Spyro even higher but he needs a step to reach it, like a flower or other platform.

There are 2 main sections to this puzzle. At any time you can go and talk to Jack and reset the section.

section 1

A. Jack will start you out by giving you one Flower Seed and on Mushroom Seed. There are 2 dirt patch in front of you. To the left is a high platform with some treasure but you need to get to the right to continue. Plant the mushroom near the treasure and the flower in the other patch. Jump on the flower, then to the mushroom and glide to the gems. Flame both plant and reverse them to continue on.

B. In the next area are 1 Flower and 1 Mushroom seed and 2 dirt patches. There is a ledge up by a tower that has another Flower seed. Plant the Mushroom near the tower and the flower in the other patch. Up on the ledge you will see a treasure chest behind bars. You can get this later. Grab the flower seed and bring it down with you. Flame both plant and reverse them to continue on but take the extra flower Seed with you.

C. Here you find just one dirt patch but no seeds. Use the flower seed you brought with you. Jump on the flower and the circular platform. Jack will show up to give you the first Egg

D. Jack will now give you 2 mushroom seeds and there is only one dirt patch. There is a third Mushroom seed nearby on the lower platform. Plant on mushroom and pick up one seed. Jump on the lower platform, then to the mushroom. When at the top of you bounce spit the seed on to the higher platform across the way. Get down and pick up the other seed. Get back on the mushroom and glide to the higher platform.

E. Now you will find 2 Dirt patches so plant 2 mushrooms. Gliding from Mushroom to Mushroom can be tricky but you better get use to it.

F. On the higher platform you find 2 mushroom seeds and a flower seed. pickup the flower seed and go back to the previous puzzle where you used two mushrooms and replace the first one with the flower. Take the mushroom seed and now you have 3 mushroom seeds. Plant 3 mushrooms in the last area.

You need to glide and hover from mushroom to mushroom to mushroom to tower. You need as straight a path as possible because course corrections will limit you glide distance. Make sure you are moving forward as you bounce up and hit X at the very top.

When you get to the tower you find the Golden Goose and Jack shows up to give you another egg.

Before you leave notice the wooden floor in the middle. Do a head bash and you will find the treasure you saw earlier.
