Bianca appears as you exit the building but this time she's on your side.

Egg Glide to the island. Saki as you exit the building take a left and follow the steps leading behind the building. The egg on an island back there, Glide and Hover.

Egg Catch the thief. Maiken If you are having trouble with this thief you can come back after you defeat the sorceress and the egg will be sitting on the ground.

Egg Shhh, it's a secret. Billy There is a breakable wall next to Desert Ruins. Break it, walk through the hole and then glide out to an island.

Check behind the Entrance to Haunted Tomb for gems.

Egg At the top of the waterfall. Evie This is right in front of the the entrance to the battle with the Sorceress.

Egg Stomp the Floor Buddy Head bash the platform by Dino Mines and Bugbot Factory

Release Agent 9 - Pay Moneybags: 1300 gems From where you start take the bridge to the left.

Part 2 - Defeat Sorceress

Egg Egg for sale. Al - Talk to Moneybags after you defeat the sorceress. He will offer to sell Spyro an egg. When Moneybags realizes this is not acceptable he begins to run. You can now chase him to recover all your gems. Each time you charge or flame him he will release stream of gems. This lasts longer the more you paid him. When you have all the gems he says his final words, drops the egg, and runs into Crystal Islands.

note: If you did not pay to release Agent 9 you can go over to him and he will say "Thanks for freeing me. Why Don't you come visit me in my home world". This is only displayed as text and you don't get to see the "Dancing Bear" Movie.

Super Bonus World - When facing the portal to Harbor Speedway the Super Bonus world is on an island down and to the right.

The mysterious pillar island - You may have noticed a tall pillar like island in the distance and maybe you even tried to glide to it, but you can't. What is it for? Was it just put there to drive us nuts? It definitely has structure. It is a 3D object made of polygons and not just part of the background. Well the answer is finally here. Thanks to aquablackmage (who figured it out) and GSCentral (who had the GameShark code) we now know there are 3 Life Butterfly Jars up there.

The Code only works with the original version of the game and it lets you jump higher and stay at the same level while gliding by holding . I have a version 3.4 CD GameShark

I wrote Insomniac about this and got a response from Craig Stitt:

It is actually very cool to me that someone finally made it out to that little island. Of course is also makes me kind of sad. Here's the story of why that island is there and why there is stuff on it.

A long time ago the portal to the Super Bonus Round was on that island. The only way to get to that island was beat the Sorceress in the final battle. Once you had done that a VERY VERY tall whirl wind would appear in the room just outside the entrance to the final boss round. This whirlwind would take you up high enough that you could glide ALL the way out to that island. If I remember right it was like a 20 or 30 second glide. It was very cool. I was actually the artist who modeled the level.

Unfortunately, the way vacations that year worked out, I needed to take mine right before we shipped the game. When I came back I discovered that the Super Bonus Portal had been moved MUCH closer and that the super-whirl-wind had been removed (for unknown reasons). Unfortunately, the artist who made all the changes (as per the programmer's and designer's request) failed to remove the old island way off in the distance. Same with the programmer who overlook removing the goodies that had been placed there.

By the time I was back from vacation the game was done and out the door.

So that's the story of the distant island with the goodies on it. Over the years I have had lots of people ask what that island is, or how you get out to it, but you are the first to write that has actually found a way out there!
