Things that are definitely NOT Spyro

Here are some things that confuse people that are not related in any way to Spyro the Dragon.
www.Spyro.com? - When I was first searching for Spyro the Dragon websites I thought to try www.Spyro.com. Well Spyro is all over the web but spyro.com is NOT his. It use to be a site devoted to Greek heritage and then for a long time was under construction. Now it's owned by some real estate guy. The official Spyro the Dragon site is www.SpyroTheDragon.com.
pic: Spyro GyraSpyro Gyra - There is some great music in the Spyro the Dragon games but it is NOT created by Jazz-Fusion band Spyro Gyra. If you are looking for the band Spyro Gyra their official site is here.pic: Stewart Copeland

Most of the Music in the PlayStation/PS2 Spyros was
composed by Stewart Copeland,
former drummer of The Police.
Here is the official Stewart Copeland web site.

The music for the GBA Games was written by Robert Baffy & Ed Cosico of Digital Eclipse
pic: Spyrogyra Spyrogyra - Of course the band Spyro Gyra got their name from a type of algae called Spyrogyra.
SpiroGraphSpiroGraph - It means to draw Spyro, Right? Well, except for the fact that it's spelled wrong. With an 'i' instead of a 'y'. SpiroGraph has been making kids dizzy since 1965. Spyro the Dragon has only been making kids dizzy since 1998.
pic: Spyr-O Mania Spyr-O Mania - Spyro-Mania swept the world in 1998 when a video game called Spyro the Dragon was released. Spyr-O Mania however, which appears to be some sort of water shooting game, has nothing to do with Spyro the Dragon.
pic: Spiro Agnew Spiro Agnew
President Richard Nixon's Vice President.
When I first started playing Spyro my mom asked "Wasn't that the name of the vice President under Nixon?" I, of course, had no idea. Beside being spelled with an 'i', Spiro is pronounced 'Spear-O'. I think Spyro would flame anyone who confused him with a human, much less a politician.
pic: The Spyro FamilyThe Spyro Family? I found this picture while searching for Spyro pictures at Google.com. I assure you that these people are in no way related to Spyro the Dragon.
