Dragonflies - live throughout the Dragon realms and are constant companions to Dragons. They protect young dragons for harm and guide them through life. They also find gems for their dragons so they can begin their own hoards.

Lesser Fireflies - these Fireflies maintain the level of pyro-technic magic in the Dragon Realms which allows Dragons to breath fire and the casting of fire related spells. These are only called "lesser" because of their size.

Greater Fireflies - These bipedal Fireflies live in Spooky Swamp and work in the Twilight Bulb Factory. They have little magical ability but are good with poetry, especially haiku, and electricity.
